MINIS

The “MINIS” cooperation project between the chairs for industrial information management (IIM) and corporate logistics (LFO) and the Institute for Transport Logistics (ITL) aims to create a miniaturized production and logistics system based on 3D printing, LEGO® Serious Play and Fischer technology as a demonstrator for teaching and research purposes. The students have the opportunity to design, construct and manufacture the elements of the miniaturized system themselves. The overriding objective is to digitize the system in a targeted manner and the creation of a digital twin.

The IIM focus on the digitization of the system and the creation of a digital twin. In the course of MINIS, project, bachelor and master theses for the fields of mechanical engineering, industrial engineering and logistics are continuously advertised
